In the beginning…

For as long as I can remember, I have had a penchant for building things. As a child I would lock myself in my room for hours on end building crazy lego constructions with whatever pieces I could scrap together. When I got my first computer I switched out legos for silicon and I would dismantle and reassemble my tower so I could explore the inner computer hardware architecture. A mastery of hardware led to a now ongoing pursuit of building better and better software. I got into web development when I was 16 and have built a number of websites over the past decade. Starting with static web pages and advancing into scripting languages, I followed the web industry into web frameworks like Zend for PHP and Ruby on Rails. continue…
